1. Service Description
Nako is a platform that helps you discover and book activities and experiences. We act as an intermediary between you and activity providers ("operators"). The activities themselves are provided by independent operators, not by Nako.
2. Account
You may browse activities without an account. To make bookings, save to your bucket list, or access your booking history, you must sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
3. Bookings
Making a Booking
When you book an activity, you enter into a contract with the activity operator. Nako facilitates this booking but is not a party to the contract between you and the operator.
Pricing
All prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are set by the activity operators and may change without notice until a booking is confirmed.
Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your booking is confirmed once payment is successfully processed. You will receive a confirmation code upon successful booking.
4. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation policies vary by activity and are set by the individual operators. The applicable cancellation policy is displayed before you confirm your booking. In general:
- Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the activity start time, unless the operator specifies otherwise
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time may not be eligible for a refund
- No-shows are not eligible for refunds
To cancel a booking, visit your Bookings page and select the booking you wish to cancel.
5. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information when making bookings
- Arrive at the meeting point on time
- Follow the operator's safety instructions and rules
- Ensure you meet any health, fitness, or age requirements for the activity
6. Limitation of Liability
Nako acts as a booking platform. We are not liable for:
- The quality, safety, or legality of activities provided by operators
- Any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in an activity
- Operator cancellations or changes to activity details
- Force majeure events (weather, natural disasters, pandemics, etc.)
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Nako is limited to the amount you paid for the specific booking in question.
7. Intellectual Property
The Nako name, logo, and platform design are our property. Activity descriptions, images, and other content may be provided by operators and remain their property.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Nako after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
